ok so you know I’m not a crazy sports fan, but I’m totally pumped because Mairead and I got free tickets to a Reds game!
why am I so excited? our seats are in the “Diamond Section,” an area right behind home plate where we get free parking(!!!), extra-wide padded seats, AND (this is the best part) “complementary food and beverages” including pre-game buffet and in-seat food and beverage service so we don’t have to miss a moment of the game we don’t care about watching. free food? freak. out.
This reminds me of your mom telling me about taking you little guys to a Royals ballgame and having to leave after a few innings because the money had run out after all the vendors had been by. Nothing has changed, you are still there only for the food.
When is it? Who are they playing? Report back!
I have been to a minor-league game here in Portland, but my free tickets were the same free tickets the other 1000 people got in the mail, too, so we were all crammed into the upper section and the lower section was empty. The seats were not built for people with my length of legs, either, so I don’t know if I can take my dad to a game when he comes back…I’ll have to find out how much the luxury boxes cost.
it’s on September 27th and it’s against the Astros. I tried to get tickets to the Cardinals game but I had to work.
No way! That is awesome. Do they still have the reds cheerleaders? One of my friend’s sisters used to be a part of that group and maybe still is. Do you get to go to Bengals games also?
