I miss having my own personal super-smart nurse.
so explain to me this. last night I took a pain pill at 1am, 8 hours after I took the last one. four hours later I woke up with awful pain, knowing that I couldn’t take another pill until 9am. kayla made sure to tell me tuesday that though I couldn’t take tylenol I could take ibuprofen, so I took a couple of ibuprofen and prayed. the pain didn’t go away until 8. then I felt fine. I could even sleep past 9 when the percocet wore off. the pain went away and stayed away. so did the ibuprofen work better than the percocet? why did the percocet only last half the time? or am I actually better, like there was one final huge push of pain and then it’s over, like when your fever breaks? what the crap is going on in my body? ugh.
ok and for those who don’t know, I will be home for the 4th of July and I’m bringing the boy. so be nice. he’s a bit scared already (probably I shouldn’t have told him so many stories).
you mean the one about grandpa, the squirrel, the car and the shotgun?
you didn’t tell him about the fox hunting, did you? or how grandpa Charlie tipped Nell’s bfriend down the well?
Tell him not to worry. Mine survived, although was nearly given a heart attack when my mother and sister SHRIEKED at him during a game of cards. (He tried to discard a joker instead of using it to win the game.)
I will never forget how bad Adolfo’s hands were shaking!!
ha, ha!
Did you tell him about Grandpa running over the rabbit, backing up, putting it on the floorboard and taking it home for lunch?
Or that someone might shoot fireworks at him?
Apparently Kayla is the only “Super Smart Nurse” you know. Yes, the Ibuprofen lasts longer, but the percocet is stronger. It’s complicated.
oops that post is mine, apparently Madeline has logged on with my laptop
well I know other super smart nurses, obviously. Kayla was just so handy since we were always together.
