a witness to my boredom

Amber, being in town, came to work with me last night. she was bored.  I helped a dude figure out how to use the GED software and told him all about how getting your ged works, I did attendance for ESOL and made sure everybody had enough tutors, and then I was done.  with an hour left.

we did the nytimes crossword puzzle on my google homepage.  I’ve recently started doing ny times crossword puzzles online to pass the time at work.  problems with this include it being obvious that I’m not actually working and that the free puzzles only change once a week.  also, I get tired of looking at my computer monitor, and would much prefer the puzzle in print form.  unfortunately that too would be rather obvious.  and amber and I are way too smart and finished the puzzle in a matter of minutes (truth be told I’d started it earlier in the day, but we still had no problems with a thursday puzzle so good for us).  I don’t think Amber feels like I’m working too hard this year…which is true at the moment.  but I’m developing mad crossword skills!
